Oct. 2007- Present: The Fuji Tour Guide Acedemy - Consultant and Teacher.
Leading whole class seminars, and setting up tour guide interviews. Proof reading, test marking and poreparation of written materials.
April 2007-Present: The Life Skills Academy - Teacher (Tokyo, Japan)
Tutoring small groups of returnees. Cover variety of subjects, including science, history and geography, whilst seeking to maintain and refine English ability.
Experience of researching, planning and evaluating lessons, and involvement in curriculum development, in conjunction with company management.
Devising games and exercises that enhance communication and comprehension skills.
May 2007-Oct 2007: The NOVA Group - ALT (Tokyo, Japan)
Experience of teaching English in inner city schools in Tokyo, often teaching up to 40 children at a time. Use of clear, concise communication to coordinate lessons and manage busy classrooms, utlising Japanese teachers and staff.
Designing and adapting games and activities to make lessons fun, useful and relevant.
